SoMe Intern

The Danish Baseball Federation is looking for a motivated Social Media Intern to support the Danish National Baseball Program. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with Denmark’s national team and help grow the presence of baseball in Denmark through creative content and storytelling.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop fresh ideas for engaging content (short-form videos, photos, behind-the-scenes stories, etc.)
  • Manage and grow the team’s social media presence across platforms
  • Attend national team practices and events to capture content
  • Collaborate with coaches, players, and staff to showcase the team’s culture and activities
  • Support broader federation communications when needed

What we’re looking for:

  • Passion for social media, video creation, and digital trends
  • Creativity and an eye for storytelling
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Interest in sports (baseball knowledge is a plus, but not required)
  • Availability to attend team practices in person on weekends in Lyngby or Odense. Most National Team practices take place on weekends.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for games or events (all travel expenses covered by the program)
  • Spoken and written English on a fluent level

What you’ll gain:

  • Hands-on experience running the social media of a national sports program
  • Creative freedom to bring your ideas to life
  • Behind-the-scenes access to Denmark’s top baseball athletes
  • A great addition to your portfolio in sports media and communications

This is an unpaid internship under the Danish Baseball Federation, but you will be working directly with the Danish National Team. The role is flexible in hours and ideal for students or young professionals looking to gain experience in sports communication and social media.

To apply, send a short introduction, CV, and examples of any social media or video work to our head of media, Kaspar Schröder, at dnbp@baseball.dk.
